Reuse Showhome 2019 - popping up in Ocean Terminal!
Discover comfortable, practical living in a space created entirely from beautiful and affordable reused and upcycled furnishings. Our things have value and this showhome is the ideal place to see that in action. The exhibition celebrates the stories of the reused and repaired items and will share the secrets of where to find or get help creating other unique treasures in Leith. Be inspired by the attractive home interiors and try your hand at creating them yourself in the activities space, where resident artists and makers will guide you through the process. By reusing and repairing our stuff it minimizes waste and gives us the opportunity to create something beautiful and completely unique.
Featuring re-loved furniture and furnishings from: The Edinburgh Remakery, Bethany Christian Trust, Inspiring Leith, Up-it upcycled furniture, Edinburgh Furniture Initative, Chloe Martina Salvi, Wardie Bay Beachwatch, Edinburgh Scrap Store, Weigh To Go Edinburgh, Teenie Tings Terrariums, Leith Community Crops in Pots, Anna Hughes, Fiona Clarke's Art, Bookbinding with Cass plus other local organisations and makers to be confirmed.
