We are delighted to be supporting Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail and Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity this summer. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in the world’s first nationwide public art trail to significantly boost Scotland’s provision for children and young people in hospital.
Edinburgh is one of 5 host cities of the trail (Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness being the other 4) and the trail will run for 11 weeks starting from Monday 17th June.
We are VERY excited to have not ONE but TWO Oor Wullie sculptures located at the centre as part of the trail – they're based on The Proclaimers! They have also been signed by Craig and Charlie themselves and were created by artisit Vanessa Gibson. There's also a musical treat so make sure you have a seat on the bucket in the middle!
We are also playing host to 20 mini Oor Wullie Scuptures that have been designed and decorated by schools and groups in Edinburgh, Lothians and the Borders - these are on display next to Oor Proclaimers!
We are proud to be playing our part and encourage everyone in Scotland to get involved by taking part in the trail too, so that all young people in hospital can be a child first and a patient second.

And don’t forget to come and check out oor very own Oor Wullie sculptures from Monday 17th June – and tick them off your trail list! Trail maps can be collected from the centre and you can download the app too.
